Challenge
e-Link is Schroders' online service enabling clients to view details of their portfolio and holdings - performance, transactions, income, accruals, valuations and reports faster than ever before.While the website was 90% complete, the project required branding, copywriting, concept and marketing development.
Solution
Initial field research was undertaken by copy writers, directed by the creative team. On the basis of their findings, concepts and applications were developed emphasising Schroder’s investment expertise and e-Link’s key benefits, i.e. simple and speedy access for clients to portfolio information. The selected concept and marketing-pack used dynamic typography and a direct, informative approach to reinforce the
easy-access theme. Creative imagery was used to suggest a ‘span’ or ‘link’ between Schroders and their clients. The final pack also incorporated innovative folding-mechanisms and print-finishing techniques.
The concept provides a clear and direct solution for Schroders, emphasising customer-benefit while also providing clients with a permanent reference source.
The pack also acts as a valuable selling-tool for Schroders, containing tabbed user-notes to provide additional information.
